Admission Procedure

Admission to Class Pre-Primary

Our school starts with Pre-Primary which has Nursery to Upper KG. Nursery admissions are initiated in accordance with the Directorate of Education Directives.

The candidate applying for Nursery must have completed 3 years of age by 31st of March of the academic session applied for.

Admissions to Classes I to IX

Please check our website by the first week of every February for details of admissions to these classes for the respective session or you can directly contact the school office.

Students seeking admission in classes above these classes may be tested on the syllabus of the standard below the one for which he/she seeks admission.

Admission to Class XI

Admission is given in June/July on the basis of the school examination results for current St. Patrick’s students and for others on the basis of the criteria set by the school, which will be given on the school website.

The criteria and percentage will be decided according to the merit for various streams. There will be one section each for Science, Commerce and Humanities.

A student is admitted to Class “XI” if:
  • He/she clears the Examinations as per the promotion criteria (CBSE).
  • Obtains the percentage prescribed by the School for different streams / optional subjects.
  • His/her conduct is good.
Note: Consideration with regard to the admission criteria may be given to outstanding students in sports or extracurricular skills.

Important Admission Conditions

  • The management reserves the right to admit or refuse students seeking admission to the school.
  • Seeking admission through recommendation, influence or persuasion will debar a student from admission.
  • Transfer Certificate for the previous school is a must to confirm admission for Classes II to IX and XI.

Withdrawal

  1. Application for Transfer Certificate must be made on the prescribed form available from the office. A clear calendar month's notice of withdrawal from the school must be given. If a child is withdrawn without notice, 1st Installment will be charged in lieu of notice.
  2. Those who wish to withdraw their child after completion of the session should apply on or before 15th March of the current session. If the application of Transfer Certificate is submitted after 15th March of the current session then the 1st Installment of the following academic session will be charged.
  3. Transfer Certificate will be issued only after clearance signatures have been obtained from all departments.
  4. However, in case of a student of Class-XI or XII leaving after commencement of the first session, one quarter of school fee shall be payable before applying for a T.C.
